We all reap the benefits of implementing responsible tax policies that lighten the burden on hardworking families and businesses. Individuals who keep more of what they earn can invest in their futures and support our community. Small businesses with lower tax burdens can innovate, create, and retain jobs, helping propel our economy forward.

Lee is fully committed to cutting unnecessary regulations and streamlining the tax code to promote simplicity and fairness for all citizens of Williamson County. He will support fiscally conservative legislation.

A smaller, more efficient government is essential to preserving the liberties and prosperity of our community. Tennessee, especially when compared to other states, does well on this score, but the job is never done. When left unchecked, the government tends to grow and overreach. We cannot allow that to happen, and Lee is committed to slashing unnecessary bureaucracy and empowering parents to decide what is best for their children.

By cutting wasteful spending and eliminating burdensome regulations, we can ensure that businesses thrive, families can prosper, and our communities can flourish.

Similarly, the federal government cannot be allowed to overreach into Tennesseans’ lives. We must push back on the awful Biden federal policies impacting Tennesseans.

“We are an immigrant country, and allowing new law-abiding, hardworking immigrants to settle here continues to be a great strength. Unfortunately, Biden has effectively dissolved our southern border and transported illegal immigrants into our state. Tennessee must now address this issue – and lead the way.”

Every state, including Tennessee, is now a border state due to the disastrous Biden administration policy of allowing criminals and narcotics to cross our southern border. Illegal immigration not only strains our resources but also poses a threat to public safety and undermines the integrity of our immigration system.

Lee believes in action to address these issues, working with authorities to enforce immigration laws and ensure that our community remains safe and prosperous. He is committed to implementing policies that will prioritize the safety and well-being of all Tennesseans while still upholding the principles of fairness and compassion.

Tennessee is among the best states to raise a family. But more can be done to keep Tennessee family-friendly. We must continually press to keep families strong while protecting children from negative influences.

The Second Amendment to the U.S. Constitution and Section 26 of the Tennessee Constitution recognize our rights as citizens to keep and bear arms for the protection of ourselves individually and for the defense of our families and communities. Lee will defend our rights and work to protect our communities from violence.

Every child deserves access to a world-class education that prepares them for success in an increasingly competitive world. Lee is dedicated to empowering parents with the freedom to choose the best educational path for their children, whether it's public, private, charter, or homeschooling. Taxpayer funds designated for education should be directed to the child's parent’s preferred educational outlet.

Additionally, Lee rejects the divisive woke agenda that seeks to politicize our classrooms and indoctrinate our children with radical ideologies. Instead, we will introduce policies that will prioritize academic excellence and critical thinking. Lee will fight to keep the woke agenda out of our schools and ensure that every child has the opportunity to reach their full potential in a safe and intellectually stimulating environment.

• The Republican platform includes giving parents choices about how their tax dollars are spent on their children's schooling. Lee supports efforts to provide Education Freedom Scholarships in Tennessee.

"Residents of Fairview, Leiper's Fork, Thompson's Station, unincorporated Williamson County, and Franklin need safe and efficient roads, bridges, and other infrastructure. We have grown and will continue to grow, and our infrastructure should accommodate it."

Williamson County has grown more than any other Tennessee county over the last 4 years and is projected to have the highest growth in the next two years. We must find ways to accommodate our growth while addressing inevitable transportation issues that come with it.

Fairview, TN, is projected to grow by 25% to 30% in already-approved housing over the next couple of years. State Road 100 is a two-lane road that is already gridlocked at rush hour. There is no current state plan to alleviate this issue, but there needs to be.
